Clarins - Liquid Bronze Selbstbraeuner
Since I'm not 100% using the St. Moriz self-tanner in my face I was convinced (great color, but settles in pores) I ordered a self-tanner especially for the face. On Liquid Bronze I came through the very positive reviews on Makeupalley.
The self-tanner of Clarins is available for 26 € for 125ml at Douglas online. Really not a cheap product, so I expect:
- Natural Tint
- Long-lasting, medium tan
- No typical self-tanner's smell
- light and even order
My first impression was quite positive. Liquid Bronze does not smell like a self-tanner but a flowery perfume. If you are very sensitive to fragrances, you should avoid this self-tanner, or first try it.
I had first feared that the lotion would be very viscous and difficult to distribute. Fortunately, this has not been confirmed. The self-tanner is quite thin and can be wonderfully distributed.
The application:
According to the instructions just put some self-tanner on a cotton pad and then quickly distribute it on the face and on the neck. Since he, as I said, is very thin, the application is absolutely no problem. If you are very careful, you do not even need to wash your fingers afterwards. But comes only a little lotion on the fingers, wash off immediately! The self-tanner gets into the skin very quickly and you can apply makeup as usual after 5-10 minutes.
I really like the skin feel of this self-tanner. It is just right for my combination skin, nourishes and is not greasy. I usually use the self-tanner instead of my usual day care (Lush enzyme ion) and I feel my complexion has improved.
The result:
I've been self-tanning for 6 days a day.
On the first day after application, you can only see a very light golden glow.
Until the fourth day, you can only see a slight gradual intensification of the tan.
On the fifth day I am very satisfied with my tan. It's easy to medium and has a golden (slightly yellow) tone.
If I'm allowed to speak in MAC: I've moved from NC10 to NC20.
It was also very important to me to use my toner (Breath of fresh Air by Lush) can still use, without I remove the self-tanner again completely. That was not the case with Liquid Bronze, I had no or minimal traces of self-tanning on the cotton pad.
I recommend the Clarins Liquid Bronze self-tanner Women with extremely pale skin who just want a little more color. But you can build the tan to a medium intensity. The color is very beautiful, the application easy and it cares for the skin. Unfortunately a bit expensive and consumed relatively quickly with daily use. I'll use this self-tanner more in winter, or between stronger self-tanner applications. (Soon to be tested: Xen-Tan Face Tanner)
