Clarins - Rouge Prodige lipstick
This week, the blog is all about the lips :) And it was not even intended! I was able to pick one of the notorious, highly acclaimed Rouge Prodige lipsticks from Clarins and I chose Rosy Coral. The name alone convinced me!
The square , golden packaging I find very noble and the shape of the lipstick tip I like much better than these tips, leaning.
The Rouge Prodige smells just like my very first ever lipstick! I immediately had nostalgic feelings when I had the roaring smell in my nose.
The texture of the lipstick is rather tough and creamy, but not heavy on the lips. The opacity is medium, but varies from nuance to nuance.
Rosy Coral is a subtle pink-peach tone with small shimmering particles. The shimmering particles are the only thing that bothers me about this lipstick. After 2-3 hours, the lipstick has namely volatilized and the glitter remains on the lips.
In addition to Rosy Coral, I received a small tester sachet with 4 other lipstick colors. This should also be on the normal counters, just ask Douglas, Müller and Co.!
Coral Tulip is pretty similar to Rosy Coral, but a bit more orange. It also contains the shimmering particles that remain on the lips.
Raspberry Sorbet I like best of all the colors tested. It has a cream finish and is a rich rosewood tone.
Red Prodige is a bright red with no glow. Very classic, unfortunately not my case.
Redwood is a nondescript Brown, which could only be applied irregularly.
The nuances without shimmer I really liked, both from the somewhat tough texture as well as the smell and feel. The line definitely has potential for additional purchase for me, but only with the shades without shimmer.
