The new Catrice nail polishes - photos and swatches!
Like a few other bloggers, I also received 5 nail polishes from the new Catrice range sent. In the course of the spring assortment, Catrice gave all her nail polishes a Make Over and completely (almost) completely renewed the assortment. Some colors have also been preserved in the new range.
When I happened to visit a DM on Saturday (it was almost coincidence ...), I discovered a separate stand with most of the new Catrice nail polishes. I took the 4 that I liked the most and would like to introduce them to you today.
The vials have been minimally altered externally. The lid is somewhat edgier and on the top is now a Catrice logo . The sticker is a bit more compact and has slid upwards. The brushes are also very similar, but I noticed the "new ones": many brushes seem a bit too long, so they bend a bit . That should be revised again. In addition, you should be careful when turning the vial, I once meant it too well and the thread is broken irreparably.
Let's take a look at the swatches. The first nail polish photo on the nails is in artificial light, the second in daylight! Utan
A creamy orange . I need 3 layers of white nail tips to make it opaque.
The old pink with golden shimmer particles has the makings of DER to become a new It nuance of Catrice . A nice, subtle color for everyday life. The subtle shimmer is recognizable only on very close inspection, in my opinion, the quiet should have been stronger! For me the paint was opaque after 3 layers.
In the bottle, it looks pretty unimpressive - a normal one Pink just. On the nails, the paint is then really gaudy, almost neon ! My camera had her problems with him, in the daylight photo he looks a lot 'more coral' than he really is. Again, I need 3 layers for a covering result.
The neutral red with no glow could become another classic by Catrice. It could be painted properly. However, I have always experienced with red nail polishes that they never cover 100%.Unfortunately, I can not do anything with the color, especially since the nail polish also has a very striped , sheere texture.
A petrol with a strong gold glow . Here the sheen is much stronger than with Bricky Mouse. After 3 layers the paint was completely opaque.
This varnish already existed in the old standard range. I was not that excited about the dark blue with a silver sheen, but over time he always liked me better. It needs at least 3 layers or a black base coat to cover.
A purple with blue and pink glitter particles . An exciting color that was not that easy to paint.
A bright mint green with a golden glow and copper-colored glitter particles . Was covering after 2 layers and is really interesting! I find the color very special and think it has the stuff for the new hype color besides Bricky Mouse!
I do not find the texture of the nail polish very convincing. Many of the nail polishes shown were only covering with 3 layers, so I'm used to from Catrice else! Single nail polishes, like my favorites, are then really great again. Here you should simply read reviews on beauty blogs, which nail polishes emerge as favorites and then buy targeted. Bricky Mouse has been on my nails for two days. So far, no tip wear, but on the left thumb a large piece of paint has broken off.
