Clip-in extensions by Verlocke.de
I wanted to try something new and came across this online store: Verlocke.de
There are extensions for gluing, clipping or bonding. But also hair-straps, etc. After I have browsed a bit, I already had a few things in my shopping cart:
- A 30cm x 30cm clip-in strap ("string" with hair and clips on it in my natural hair color, for more volume
- Two 3cm wide clip-in highlights in Purple Rain and Big Blue
- A Swarovski glittering streak
However, I ordered the last two things for a friend and we share the Purple Rain highlights.
How Clip-in works:
Divide the upper half of his hair in a straight, horizontal line. Then open the brackets of the extensions with light pressure on the arched part. Then push on the hair root of the horizontal peak and close the clamp. You do that with all the clips, put your own hair over the extensions and you're done.
I paid in advance and within 3 days, the extensions were also already there. The shipping was 5 €. (However, if you order under 20 €, the shipping is free)
My first impression when unpacking the hair:
The extensions are extremely soft, but it feels sturdy.
The smell is barely perceptible, but rather comes from the plastic packaging.
The extensions look good quality.
Somehow it is funny to hold real human hair in the hands, but the quality is unbeatable. Since I am still a newcomer to Extensions, I can not say whether the price of 5 € for a tress (only available in a double pack) and 25 € for a 30cm x 30cm tresse is appropriate, too expensive or cheap. Since this is real hair, it can also be washed and styled.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to trying out the extensions!
